Can I purchase a Universal Express pass the day of my visit?
While Universal Express passes are available for purchase in-park, these products have a limited inventory and typically sell out, so advance purchase is recommended.
Universal Express Now is only available day of for purchase in the Universal Orlando App, subject to capacity and availability. Additionally, Universal Express Unlimited passes are included when you stay at select Universal Orlando Signature Collection hotels.
How do I use my complimentary Universal Express Unlimited pass if I am a guest at Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Hard Rock Hotel® and Loews Portofino Bay Hotel?
Your Universal Express Unlimited pass will be automatically connected to your room key card if you are a guest of Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Hard Rock Hotel® and Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. To gain access to the Express queue at a participating attraction, just show your hotel room key card to the attendant at the entrance. Separate valid admission required to enter the theme park(s). Valid only at participating rides and attractions in Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, during normal theme park operating hours. Not valid at Universal Volcano Bay or at Universal Epic Universe.
What attractions do not participate in Universal Express or Universal Express Unlimited?
Universal Express and Universal Express Unlimited access is not valid on Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure™ and Pteranodon Flyers in Universal Islands of Adventure, Dragon Racer’s Rally at Universal Epic Universe, and Kopiko Wai Winding River and TeAwa The Fearless River at Universal Volcano Bay.
How does the Universal Volcano Bay Express pass work?
Just like the other theme parks, guests with Express at Universal Volcano Bay can enjoy shorter wait times with access to the Express queue at participating attractions. Guests can purchase Volcano Bay Express and Volcano Bay Express PLUS Passes or pick-up their Express designated wristbands at the in-park concierge huts. When arriving at a participating attraction, guests will scan their wristband and enter a separate Express queue.
Is there an Express pass available for Halloween Horror Nights?
Yes, there is a Halloween Horror Nights Express pass product available for Halloween Horror Nights. Universal Express passes used during regular theme park hours, including Universal Express Unlimited received as a benefit of select Signature Collection Universal Orlando hotels, are not valid for this separately ticketed event.

Will Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel, offer Universal Express Unlimited as part of the Signature Collection hotel category?
While Universal Helios Grand Hotel will not include Universal Express Unlimited, guests can take advantage of other incredible exclusive theme park benefits—including Early Park Admission to enjoy select attractions at the theme parks up to one hour before the park opens (valid theme park admission required and not included); complimentary shuttle bus transportation to the theme parks and Universal CityWalk; resort-wide charging privileges with key card; and complimentary merchandise delivery. Guests of Universal Helios Grand Hotel can also enjoy a dedicated entrance to Epic Universe straight from the hotel (valid theme park admission required for park entry).

This product is only offered sporadically when availability opens with limited entry windows at participating attractions in Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure and/or Universal Epic Universe, as capacity allows and will only be available for purchase day of, in park, via the Universal Orlando Resort App.
With the Universal Express Pass, guests can enjoy a shorter wait time by entering the Express queue (instead of the regular line) at each participating attraction one time during normal theme park operating hours at Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Epic Universe, and/or Universal Volcano Bay.
With the Universal Express Unlimited Pass, guests can enjoy a shorter wait time by entering the Express queue (instead of the regular line) at each participating attraction multiple times throughout the day during normal theme park operating hours at Universal Studios Florida and/or Universal Islands of Adventure – so they get Express ride access to each participating ride and attraction as many times as they’d like. Universal Express Unlimited Pass is not valid at Universal Epic Universe or at Universal Volcano Bay.

What if I got a pass for an attraction that I was not able to ride due to Safety and Accessibility requirements?
Before purchasing, it’s important for guests to read attraction’s ride warning sign found at the entrance of each attraction to make an informed decision about guests’ ability to safely and conveniently experience the attractions at Universal Orlando. Guests who have already purchased Universal Express Now for an attraction where rider requirements cannot be met should visit or contact Guest Services for assistance.
What happens if I missed my Express Now time window?
Guests who miss their Universal Express Now queue entrance window will forfeit the use of their Universal Express Now.
Can I change my Universal Express Now for another attraction?
Universal Express Now is both attraction and time specific, and it cannot be exchanged for another participating ride or attraction.
The attraction for which I purchased Universal Express Now has temporarily closed, what do I do now?
Guests who experience a temporary closure during their Universal Express Now queue entrance time window will receive a notification that their Universal Express Now experience window for that attraction has been extended through the end of the day (during regular park hours). For extended closures, visit or contact Guest Services to explore options.
