Q: How early should guests arrive to check-in?
A: Guests must arrive to the Darkmoor Monster Makeup Experience on the date and time listed on the ticket. Late arrivals may result in forfeiture; rebooking at the discretion of Universal Orlando.

Q: How long is the experience?
A: Each experience lasts approximately 20 minutes, but you should plan for up to 30 minutes. This time includes the Check-In and briefing process as well as the time for the experience.

Q: What happens if I am late?
A: Guests who are running late should contact the venue (689-325-6181) or visit the venue for available options. Guests will be accommodated based on availability and other factors such as arrival time, party size and time of day, however, a spot is not guaranteed. Ticket is non-refundable and non-transferable.

A: Ticket is non-refundable and non-transferable. Booking will be forfeited.

Q: Is there a discount for Passholders?
A: Yes. Passholders will receive a 10% discount on the Darkmoor Monster Makeup Experience. Passholder discounted tickets are available for purchase at the venue (once open) or Universal Orlando Front Gate/Guest Services locations. Must present valid Annual/Seasonal Pass and valid photo identification at time of purchase and/or redemption.

Q: Is there a discount for Team Members?
A: Yes. Team Members will receive a 10% discount on the Darkmoor Monster Makeup Experience. Team Member discounted tickets are available for purchase at the venue (once venue opens to the public), U-Shoes in B-2 (next to Gate 2), Epic Universe U-Stop or the Universal Orlando Front Gate/Guest Services locations. Must present valid UOTM ID at time of purchase and/or redemption.

Q: What does it feel like?
A: Face paint and cosmetic products are applied with sponges, sponge applicators and soft-bristle paint brushes. The application will feel soft and cool. Temporary Tattoo application process may include a minor pulling/pinching sensation as the stencil is removed from the skin.

Q: What do I do during the experience?
A: The artist will guide you through the experience. They may at times request that you gently turn your head, close your eyes or close your mouth for a few moments. The artist may touch the top of your head to give you guidance in these movements. The artist may reposition your arm/leg as needed to apply the temporary tattoo.

Q: What should my artist be aware of?
A: Please let the artist know if you have sensory conditions or allergies to latex, alcohol, talc, cotton, polyacrylic emulsion, polymers, red/yellow dyes or fragrances. Please let the makeup artist know if you wear contacts as certain pigments used may stain contact lenses. Please let the artist know if you have any visible skin irritations, rashes or open wounds in areas where products are being applied.

Q: What materials does the artist use?
A: The artists use face paint products that are made with cosmetic grade ingredients. Please be advised that products do contain FD&C Red Dye, FD&C Yellow Dye, Fragrances, Polyacrylic Emulsion, Polymers and Non-hazardous Preservatives.

Q: Where can I have the temporary tattoos applied?
A: Temporary Tattoos may be applied to visible spots on the arms, legs and the shoulder areas at the artist's discretion. Guests must adhere to Universal Orlando's clothing/costume policy to include shirts and shoes to be worn during the experience.

Q: What should I do if I have a reaction to the materials used?
A: Although it is unlikely, these elements may cause skin irritation. Guests with skin sensitivities should consult with their doctor prior to engaging in this activity. If skin irritation should occur with the products used, they can be washed off the skin with mild soap and water or cosmetic wipes.
