Dietary Needs
Accommodating Every Taste
We know it can be a challenge to dine out when you or someone you're with has food allergies or intolerances. That's why we offer a number of dining locations throughout Universal Epic Universe, Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios Florida, Universal Volcano Bay, Universal CityWalk and our hotels where our chefs and culinary staff can accommodate your dietary needs.
You've Got Options
Research Dining Options Before You Arrive
As you're making plans to visit Universal Orlando Resort, browse through the online menus for our theme park restaurants. Acquainting yourself with the available options ahead of time will give you a head start. If you have any further questions after viewing the menus, email the Food Allergy team at Food.Allergy@universalorlando.com.
Check With Restaurants Once You’re Here
Don’t worry if you aren’t able to research dining options ahead of time. You can ask to speak to a chef or manager at any restaurant within Universal Orlando Resort, or at any of our hotels once you’re here. Let them know which guest in your party has a food allergy or intolerance, and what the allergy/intolerance is. Our culinary staff will make every effort to prevent that allergen from coming into contact with any part of that guest’s meal.
It should be noted, however, that Universal Orlando does not have separate food preparation facilities in which to prepare allergen-free foods. There is occasionally the chance that allergens may have been introduced to one or more ingredients before they reached the kitchens at Universal Orlando.
Religious Accommodations
We are pleased to provide Kosher or Halal menu options for our Guests. Please be advised that these meals are made to order and require at least 4-5 days advance notice and a confirmed dining reservation with the number of people in your party needing each meal.
Please email us at Food.Allergy@universalorlando.com to arrange your Kosher Fresh meals.

Bring Your Own Food
You’re also welcome to bring your own food if you prefer. Simply notify a Security Team Member performing the security bag check at the front gate that you or a member of your party has a food allergy/intolerance. Items should be contained in a soft-sided cooler; glass is not allowed.
Universal Orlando guests staying at one of our hotels may keep food refrigerated in their hotel room. The hotel is unable to hold food in its kitchen on behalf of the guest.
