Velvet Bar hosts the city’s only rock ‘n’ roll cocktail party on the last Thursday of every month*. Each “session” combines creative cocktails with live music from some of the hottest rock bands.

The award winning “Velvet Sessions” is a rock & roll cocktail party held in the hotel’s Velvet Bar and Lobby Lounge. Each “Session” showcases a different type of beverage theme for members to sip, shoot or guzzle along with fabulous and great live music from the nation’s best rock bands.

Admission is $25** and includes FREE drinks, finger foods and warm-up tunes, starting at 6:30pm. Cash Bars and Band from 8:00pm and onwards Velvet Sessions is an invite-only event – You can request your invitation online!

You'll find the hotel decorated with authentic memorabilia - take a self guided tour and discover Elvis Presley's stage outfit, Elton John's boots, Eric Clapton's guitar and much more. Poolside Activities
From ping pong tournaments to pool basketball to hula hoop contests and arts & crafts, you’ll find something fun to do poolside for the whole family. Check with the front desk upon your arrival to find out what’s going on during your stay.

Game Room: Open from 8 am - 12 midnight.

Concert Nights: From May through August, the hotel will feature a DJ on Thursday nights, a live band on Saturdays and Concert Nights every Sunday. Concert nights will showcase performances from today's top bands on a full-size movie screen by the beach. All entertainment is complimentary to hotel guests.

When Mom and Dad want to enjoy a night on the town or a quiet dinner, drop the Lil' Rockers off at Camp Lil' Rock supervised children's activity center.
